You'll fight throughout the day and night, in hot and cold weather, in snow and rain. The enemy is skilled - there're terrorists from all over the world and they have cutting-edge technologies at their disposal: teleportation and various mechanized combat systems. Our heroes will face great challenges - artillery strikes, insuperable force fields, automated turrets, suicide soldiers and giant humanoid robots.Your savvy will come in handy: your actions aren't limited to slaughter and destruction.

You'll have to capture enemy vehicles and bases, save hostages and rescue convicts, hold the line and shoot back from the turrets, search for data discs and spare parts, repair broken robots and bypass minefields. The high command carefully watches your operation’s progress: missions can be aborted because of major offence; minor misbehavior will be reprimanded, and great achievements will be rewarded with medals and promotions. In the end, the very best soldiers will receive the greatest reward: they will return to home camp where warm army barracks, hot army food, soft army bunks and a tender drill sergeant await them. Until the next time. Key Features:.

I'm sure I sound stupid, but I didn't find in the manual or the menu how to connect the G10 to a computer USB (WinXP) and transfer the images to the HD, without help from the Canon software. The computer should recognize the camera as a 'Mass Storage Device' and consider it as just another disk drive. It does not happen when I connect the USB cable. In other cameras I use, there is a setting in the camera: 'STORAGE' for that. I didn't find something similar in the G10.I'm sure the Canon software is fine, but I prefer to do it this way. Is it possible to do it?Moshe. Good to hear it's working for you.I actually use a card reader rather than hooking the camera up directly.

I found that I tend to get carried away reviewing and editing the pictures I've downloaded, and as a result I usually forget to turn the camera off - sometimes for quite a long time. I eliminated that problem by using a card reader since it doesn't require that I turn on the camera. But I had to get into the habit of leaving the camera's card door open when I did that so that I wouldn't forget that I had removed the card!;-D. OK, there's an elephant in the room and I must poke it in the eye.It is my favorite bug bear with the G10 (and apparently all Canon cameras released since 2007, don't quote me.).They have apparently changed the interface method to PTP (see thewebsite) so now compatibility with third party software is a problem.

I used to use a program called the Breeze Systems Downloader to do my transfers. Excellent VERY configurable program that would start when I connected the camera, do the transfer into neat little daily, camera specific folders for me and rename the files with the time the image was taken. Then it would open my edit software in browser mode on that folder and dozens of other little things, all without so much as a keystroke. Now that and several other progs just won't see my wondrous G10.The Canon software must be run on XPSP2 and up which I can't use because of hardware compatibility issues (ahhhrgh) so RAW is inaccessible to me (grrrr) and as far as I can tell from my various experiments, this only comes down to some weird agreement with Microsoft. So yes, cardreader it is, still works with the breeze software but just a little more fiddly. I suspect I am just spoilt. Also it would have been nice to put my name and phone number in the firmware but what are you going to do?.
